WMU exists to equip churches to discover and live out their missions call. WMU is Biblically rooted, mission-focused, church-based, world-aware, and denominationally supportive.
The Greenville Baptist Association WMU Auxiliary is active in GBA churches. If you would like to join our leadership team, please get in touch with Doris Bush, GBA WMU Director, at [email protected] or call 864-201-9830
Each year, GBA WMU faithfully works towards two association-wide mission projects:

Each May, the GBA WMU collects ministry kits, which are used in local missions that may include urban, migrant, and refugee projects. These personal hygiene items are not as closely scrutinized as the SCDC-approved prisoner packets. For details on what to include, click the button.
314 Ministry Kits were collected in May 2025!

The GBA WMU partners with SCBaptist and the SC Department of Corrections to provide prisoner packets each December. Each packet is carefully processed to ensure that only approved items are included. For details about this year’s list and collection dates, click the button.
2,165 completed Prisoner Packets were collected in December 2024!
WMU leads the charge for three special offerings each year:
Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
