Our mission includes strengthening existing churches through training, renewal, and replanting. Church Renewal is about making the present look like the future, not making the future look like the past.
The challenge of church renewal is immense. 80% of our churches are plateaued or declining. We are committed to strengthening our existing churches to better create access to the gospel in their communities. We can assist our at-risk church through:

The GBA assists churches in developing strategies and reconnecting with their God-given mission. Our Church Renewal Team comprises GBA Pastors and SC Baptist Convention staff who share a vision to help struggling churches identify key points of community engagement, serve their local schools, and meet physical needs in their communities.
