Meet Greenville Baptist Association
The Greenville Baptist Association is made up of churches who voluntarily partner together to do more than any one church can do alone. Most of our churches are located in Greenville County, however we partner based on ideology rather than zip codes. We closely collaborate with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. We have long-term partnerships with NAMB and IMB.
Our Vision: Access to the gospel for all – starting here!
Our Mission: We coach and serve our churches as they create access to the gospel by:

As followers of Jesus, we want to share His Good News with others. We create access to the gospel through a variety of ministries. An estimated 350,000 people living in Greenville County are not connected to any church. An additional 200,000 more people are expected to move here in the next 15 years. The 100+ GBA churches are working to create access to the gospel and reach their communities.
The challenge of church revitalization is immense. We are committed to strengthening our existing churches to better create access to the gospel in their communities. We assist at-risk churches with strategic planning, merger assistance, replanting/rebranding efforts, and legacy church planting.

We strategically work to create access to the gospel in places where it is limited or non-existent. Established churches are essential partners for planting new churches. Through our Church Planting Covenant, we financially support church plants in our priority locations to help them become a lasting gospel presence in their communities.
