Baptist Campus Ministry – BCM exists to make disciples among the students at Greenville Tech and Furman University.
Prison – We work with the chaplain at Perry Correctional Facility as well as South Carolina Department of Corrections for ministry among the inmates and families. To know more about how your church can be involved in ministry at Perry, contact Chaplain Larry Epps at 864-243-4712. We also participate in the Christmas Prisoner Packet ministry each year. The current list of supplies for the packets will be posted in September of each year.
Multihousing – About 40% of our population lives in some kind of multihousing community. This includes: apartments, condominiums, townhouses, assisted care facilities, nursing homes, dormitories and more. The vast majority of multihousing residents have little connection to church. We work to connect our churches with multihousing communities through events, long term partnerships and Apartment Life.
Literacy – With the world coming to us, it is important for them to learn English. We provide training for volunteers who want to work with foreign-born individuals who want to learn how to read and write English better. We also with schools and agencies for tutoring English-speaking students and adults who want to learn how to read and write better.
Ministry Kits – Similar to prisoner packets, these basic toiletry supplies meet needs and provide numerous ministry opportunities. They are collected in the Spring of each year. A list of items to include in the kit will be posted on the website.
Woman’s Missionary Union – WMU is a strong partner with us in a variety of mission and ministry projects. We are deeply appreciative of their support and involvement. To learn more about WMU, click here.
Agencies – Our churches partner with numerous agencies throughout Greenville County.
